David Scott fell in love with serving others when he was a teenager. Inspired by caring mentors, he realized the power intentional friendships have to bring about transformation in the lives of individuals and their communities. Ten years ago, his passion lead him to Oklahoma City where he first became involved in holistic community development. Witnessing the depth of both the potential and the needs of impoverished sections of the city, led David Scott to the University of Oklahoma where he obtained a dual degree in Sociology and Psychology with a minor in Social Justice. There his passion for community empowerment grew even more, inspiring him to pursue a Master of Arts in International Development from Eastern University. Currently, David Scott serves Outrageous Love as Community Development Director, where he provides training, assistance and consulting in holistic community development to our various projects and partners. He lives in Alexandria, Egypt with his wife, Jessi, and their daughter, Ruby.
